A certified group fitness instructor and registered dietitian – is passionate for helping others achieve their health goals. Emily started teaching group fitness while attending the University of Maryland in 2006. Emily is certified by the American Council on Exercise, Les Mills’ BODYPUMP, Spinning, and Yogafit — and has experience teaching freestyle step, cardioboxing, strength training, and bootcamp classes.
Emily graduated from the University of Maryland with her Bachelors of Science in Dietetics in 2009, and matched into the University of Maryland’s Dietetic Internship. Since passing the Registration Examination for Dietitians in 2011, Emily has worked in a wide variety of settings, including hospitals, physician offices, and college campuses. Emily is currently a Clinical Dietitian for Well-Span Health.
No matter the setting, Emily is dedicated to making her participants’ experience the best it can possibly be. Emily strives to design fitness classes that are both challenging and safe, and are tailored to the needs of her individual participants.
New and veteran exercisers are always welcome! In her nutrition talks, Emily helps participants decipher the most
current information and provides dozens of easy-to-apply tips and strategies.
In her spare time, Emily enjoys exploring York County with family and friends, testing out new healthy recipes, and
